The terrariums will be built primarily with recyclable materials and with plants from a local nursery! The event is free to attend, although a five dollar donation is suggested (but not mandatory).
Supplies will be provided by FODC, but please feel free to bring any supplies you have and want to use for your terrarium, including recycled containers, plants, and decorations.
This series, as well as the rest of the Friends of Deckers Creek Arts in the Park series is made possible thanks to a grant from the Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia, Inc. and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
For those of you who don’t know, the Friends of Deckers Creek Outdoor Learning Park is a lovely spot with pavilions, wildflower gardens, and creek access, and it’s located on the rail trail, directly behind the Sabraton Kroger: 1851 Earl L. Core Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
Parking is available in the spots next to the “ClickList” pickup lot to the back-left of Kroger. Do not park in the ClickList spots.
