DESCRIPTION:As part of FODC’s Arts in the Outdoor Learning Park Series\, 
 we will be hosting a Build-a-Terrarium Workshop at the Outdoor Learning Pa
 rk on Thursday August 22nd at 6:00 pm. Local artists Rachael Kesecker and 
 Sean Donovan of Hippie Hobbies Studios will guide you step-by-step while e
 xplaining the water cycle and the science behind building and maintaining 
 a living terrarium!\n\nFODC will have limited supplies\, on a first come f
 irst serve basis. Please bring any supplies you have and want to use for y
 our terrarium\, including recycled containers\, plants\, and decorations. 
 Get creative!\n\nThis event is free\, but donations are appreciated. There
  is no registration for the event\, just please try to show up on time at 
 6:00 pm!\n\nThe Outdoor Learning Park (OLP) is located directly on the Dec
 kers Creek Rail Trail behind the Sabraton in Kroger. Parking is available

 ed and have enough paint leftover for another project\, and we are invitin
 g anyone to pickup paint for FREE.\n\nThe third annual Paint Exchange is m
 ade possible thanks to the support of the Morgantown Utility Board and the
  Monongalia County Commission.\n\nPlease note: We reserve the right to tur
 n any person away or to refuse to accept any product. There is a 5 gallon 
 maximum per household. We will not be accepting paints from businesses.\n\
 nWe WILL be inspecting paint when it is dropped off\, and we WILL turn ind
 ividuals away if the paint 1) is expired\, 2) has less than half a gallon

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 6th\, spend time walking Deckers Creek\, cl
 eaning up litter as you go! Bring friends\, family\, or your club/group-- 
 or get paired up with other awesome community members at the event.\n\nMee
 t at Friends of Deckers Creek's Outdoor Learning Park (OLP) at 9 am to rec
 eive supplies\, directions\, and safety tips. From there\, we will send vo
 lunteers with FODC leaders to one of three locations\, our most family-fri
 endly option being right there along the rail trail. Volunteers may choose
  to walk the trail\, explore the stream banks\, or even get their feet wet
  to pick up trash from litter and illegal dumping. The event will end at 1
 2 pm. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Dress appropriately if you 
 plan on getting wet!\n\nBONUS OPPORTUNITY: Do you like trees? Thanks to th
 e Mountaineer Treeways program through the Division of Forestry\, FODC has
  been given 100 saplings to plant along the banks of Deckers at Marilla Pa
 rk. This will help contribute to streambank stabilization. After the clean
 up ends at 12\, tree-planting volunteers will be meeting at the Marilla Pa
 rk basketball court. Extra hands are appreciated! If possible\, BYOS (brin
 g your own shovel).\n\n---------------------------------------------------
