Build-a-Terrarium Workshop
As part of FODC’s Arts in the Outdoor Learning Park Series, we will be hosting a Build-a-Terrarium Workshop at the Outdoor Learning Park on Thursday August 22nd at 6:00 pm. Local artists Rachael Kesecker and Sean Donovan of Hippie Hobbies Studios will guide you step-by-step while explaining the water cycle and the science behind building and maintaining a living terrarium!
FODC will have limited supplies, on a first come first serve basis. Please bring any supplies you have and want to use for your terrarium, including recycled containers, plants, and decorations. Get creative!
This event is free, but donations are appreciated. There is no registration for the event, just please try to show up on time at 6:00 pm!
The Outdoor Learning Park (OLP) is located directly on the Deckers Creek Rail Trail behind the Sabraton in Kroger. Parking is available at the back of the Kroger parking lot, on the side with the gas pumps. From the parking lot, there is a small trail that leads directly to the Rail Trail. The OLP features two pavilions, gardens, and creek access.
FODC’s Arts in the Outdoor Learning Park Series is made possible thanks to a grant from the Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia, Inc. and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
